Definitely do some research above using the search function before you buy. I bought my first z32 as an impulse buy from a dealership nonetheless. I did not know what I was getting into as I was not aware of TT.net at the time, I only knew that I had always wanted one. I was inclined to buy the last year for the US spec. because I thought a '96 was the best...wrong. I bought a '96 NA for $10,500 (dealership raped) with 100,000 miles hoping to convert it to a TT without even knowing about OBDII electronics vs OBDI along with the emissions testing for my area, less available mods for the '96, dropping the vvt, etc. But through this site I met someone local in my area, Bernie, and picked up a 93 TT from him. Kind of an impulse buy as well, but knowing it came from Bernie I had no worries. The story with the '96 NA was I sold it 18 months later for $6,000. I lost some money, but sometimes you learn things the hard way. Presently though I couldn't be more happier with my TT. Good luck and definitely do your research before you buy. Let time be on your side, I regret rushing into my first z32 purchase...all that was on my mind was where do I sign & I want this thing right now.
